Chief Technology Officer in Industry Sector

As a pre-revenue disruptive technology company, our client needed a CTO to assist them in becoming a commercially viable enterprise.
The challenging brief given to Hoggett Bowers included a demonstrable track record of value engineering to improve the value of products through multi-disciplined teams; international market/product development experience; experience of deploying scrum/hybrid agile methodology to respond rapidly to market changes; and outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills.
The search focused on a tight target list of organisations within the industry sector and a significant effort being put in to generate referrals from Hoggett Bowers’ existing network of contacts.
Four high calibre candidates were shortlisted and interviewed by the client who confirmed that they all met the challenging remit and could do the job, but one outstanding individual, who had not been actively in the jobs market prior to being approached, was a stand-out candidate and strong cultural match with the wider business.
From being commissioned by the client, the shortlist of candidates was delivered within 6 weeks and the contract offer accepted by the successful person within a further 2 weeks.
