Hoggett Bowers is located at the bottom end of Queen Street between Cloak Lane & College Street, adjacent to a pedestrianised area.


There is no permitted turn from Cannon Street onto Queen Street lower. Vehicular access can be achieved from Cannon Street by turning onto College Hill, turning right onto Cloak Lane and then left onto Queen Street. The nearest car park is situated in Bell Wharf Lane, Upper Thames Street EC4R 3TB.

Underground/on foot

The nearest tube station is Mansion House (Circle & District lines) Exit onto Queen Victoria Street, turn right into Cannon Street, turn right into Queen Street. Other nearby tube stations are Bank (Northern, Central, Waterloo & City and DLR line), London Bridge (Northern and Jubilee line).


The nearest Mainline station is London Cannon Street Station (Circle & District lines) Exit onto Cannon Street, turn left into Dowgate Hill, turn right into Cloak Lane, turn left into Queen Street.

Bus/on foot

Bus No's 11, 23, 26, 88, 376 and 521 stop in nearby Queen Victoria Street.
Bus No's 15,17 and 521 stop in Cannon Street.

By rail

From Manchester Piccadilly. When leaving the station turn to the right and go down the station approach. Follow the road until you reach Piccadilly Gardens. Keeping the Gardens on your left, follow the road round past Market Street (pedestrianised) and onto Mosley Street. Booth Street is the 3rd road on the right (approx 300m). Abbey House can be found on the corner of Mosley Street and Booth Street.

Travelling by Metrolink

The nearest stop is St Peter's Square. Once on the platform, you will see a large circular building (Central Library). Keeping this on your left head across St Peter's Square, cross Princess Street, and walk up Fountain Street. Booth Street is first on the right, and the entrance to Abbey House can be clearly seen when you turn into Booth St.
